promotional partnership has developed throughout the
Midland and Penetanguishene area supporting the Battle of
Georgian Bay, 2001.
- Cavalry sponsorship of the Battle of
Georgian Bay 2001 will provide you the sponsor, with high
visibility of Your Company/Business
corporate name, logo and products to the Canadian
domestic tourism market and border United States tourism
market.
- Historical re-enactments as proven at the
1998 event, draw huge crowds and interest from the
public; the opportunity to have battle-trained cavalry
present is certainly a rare & special occasion making
advertising exposure for Your Company/Business
great and dollars well spent.
LOGISTICAL COMPONENTS - CAVALRY
- Experience is what the tourism market is
demanding and experience is what the Battle of Georgian
Bay is going to offer.
- Each Battle Event will be focused in
different areas of Midland, Penetanguishene, Tiny
Township and Discovery Harbour. Promotional exposure will
be great as expected attendance is estimated at 30,000
with over 1500 participants from all over Canada, United
Stated and Europe.
- The Battle of Georgian Bay, 2001 is
guaranteed to be the largest War of 1812 re-enactment in
Canada if not North America.
- Battle trained horses or cavalry units are
hard to come by especially in Canada. During the 1998
event, the cavalry units that attended were from the
United States and sponsorship cost would go towards
off-setting the cost of veterinarian, transport and
customs fees.
BENEFITS OF SPONSORING A CAVALRY UNIT
- Exclusive sponsorship of the British or
American cavalry during the Battle of Georgian Bay, 2001
event.
- Accreditation as one of the cavalry unit
sponsors of the Battle of Georgian Bay, 2001 and a
supporter of tourism and heritage in the Midland and
Penetanguishene area.
- Special Battle of Georgian Bay sponsors
appreciation & media reception aboard one of the Tall
Ships on Tuesday evening at Discovery Harbour prior to
the battle weekend. Space available for up to 2 members,
associates or employees of Your Company/Business.
- VIP admission to Discovery Harbour for 4
members, associates or employees of Your
Company/Business.
- Name/logo presence in all advance and
promotional advertising promoting the cavalry throughout
the duration of the Battle of Georgian Bay, 2001 event.
- Name/Logo displayed on the Battle of
Georgian Bay website, with a direct link to Your
Company/Business web site. Your
Company/Business name/logo also included on our
sponsors and links pages.
- Photo taken with your cavalry unit and
staff of Your Company/Business during the
Battle of Georgian Bay weekend.
- A Charitable
Income Tax Deductible Receipt
for the full amount of the sponsorship package made out
to Your Company/Business.
SPONSORSHIP PACKAGE - CAVALRY
The cost of sponsoring one of the cavalry units
for the Battle of Georgian Bay, 2001 is the contribution of
$1000.00 payable as follows:
- First payment of $400.00 due upon signing
of the contract.
- Second payment of $300.00 due six months
prior to the event weekend.
- Third payment of $300.00 due two months
prior to the event weekend.

cavalry units for the Battle of Georgian Bay, 2001 event as
