LOGISTICS - TANGLEFOOT CONCERTS
Entertainment is a major component of any
event. The international profile of Tanglefoot, one of
Canadas leading musical groups, contributed greatly to the
success of the Battle of Georgian Bay in 1998.
High energy, big vocals and fine song writing
are trademarks of this dynamic five-piece band from Peterborough,
Ontario. From inauspicious beginnings as friends who enjoyed a
common interest in traditional music, Tanglefoot has grown to
become one of Canada's outstanding folk groups.
Utilizing Celtic, Maritime and French-Canadian
influences, Tanglefoot has created an extensive repertoire of
finely crafted original material, delivered with a big,
full-throated accompaniment and superb vocal harmonies.
Enthusiastic and thoroughly engaging on stage, they are
consistent showstoppers at festivals, theatres and concert halls
wherever they perform.
With a truly powerful sound and fresh, poignant
song writing, Tanglefoot is an irrepressibly contagious and
uniquely entertaining band, one you won't soon forget.
